Satmap UK National Parks Toggleable SD Card: Satmap Toggleable maps are supplied on an SD card. The map card is small, lightweight and simply plugs straight into the active 10. The National Parks are unique areas of countryside, preserved and protected to ensure future generations can enjoy them too. Although there are actually 14 officially designated National Parks, we have included an additional 6 areas which are favourites of all outdoors enthusiasts. This ensures users of the Active 10 get full mapping of all major areas of interest at both 1:25k and 1:50k on every map card, giving the ability to zoom in to the smallest detail and zoom out to get an overview of a large area. Toggleable National Parks: In February 2010, Satmap launched toggleable Premium National Parks maps (containing both 1:25k & 1:50k). Toggling is a new feature available only on version 1.4 of our platform software (downloadable for free from our software page). Toggling allows the user to flick between two map scales of the same area - rather than zooming all the way into the 1:25k scale or all the way out to the 1:50k scale, you can jump between one scale and another at the flick of a switch. You must have version 1.4 or later in order for these maps to work. Please note that some retailers may still be stocking the older versions of the National Parks Premium maps (which are not toggleable) so if you would prefer the toggleable version - make sure that the map packaging displays the toggleable icons (see below).
