Transfil Shimano Road Brake Cable Inner: Transfil is situated in the heart of France, at the base of the volcanoes where nature thrives in splendor. For 50 years, Transfil has created, developed, tested and manufactured brake and gear systems for your bike in conformity with the leading bicycle and component manufactures and for every outdoor use : extreme, road and mountain biking. A cable is composed of an inner core and an outer core. The inner core is composed of one steel thread surrounded by 6 threads making one strand. At this point a simple strand or multi-strand cable can be produced. The composition of a single strand cable is (1+6) + 12 = 19 threads, and a multi-strand is (1+6) x 7 = 49 threads. Lasers have been set in place to increase production as well as to control the diameter on a permanent basis and in case of any anomalies stop the machine. The Ups and Downs MTB is one of our most popular sportive, this area of outstanding natural beauty is in touching distance of London and the Start / Finish is next door to a mainline station. Wiggle Super Series Falling Leaves (MTB/Cross) - Under 16: This sell-out event and part of the New Forest Cycle Festival, the 'Falling Leaves' is a MTB and Cyclocross ride set against the stunning backdrop of the New Forest National Park. The course sweeps through the quiet flowing leafy off road tracks, Cycle Paths and is joined by sections of Forest lanes, taking in breathtaking views of the Forest as the trees drop their golden leaves. The event will suit a wide range of rider's disciplines and abilities, as the course is fairly flat and not technical. Experience riders will want to set a good time, as they blast around this flowing course, while new riders can ride at their own pace taking in the scenery. The nature of the tracks and off road cycle paths in the New Forest makes it perfect for either, Mountain Biking, Cyclocross or Families to enjoy. With this in mind there are 3 ride options: Epic - 40miles, Standard - 25miles and Family Fun - 7 miles. Note: Cyclocross - please note this event is not a race but a great training ride, prior to the 'Cross' season kicking off. A great way to get some miles under your belt on a suitable course.
